General Paul Manson is a former Chief of the Defence Staff, who took up duty as the Chairman of the Canadian War Museum's "Passing of the Torch" fundraising campaign. General Manson provided vital leadership on a wide range of corporate and civic initiatives to solicit support and funding. He worked tirelessly to inject enthusiasm and to encourage a multitude of private companies, organizations and individuals to join this national fundraising project. He also encouraged all opportunities to proactively work with the media in raising the profile of this important campaign. In addition to these considerable duties, General Manson provided executive leadership to the Canadian Aviation Hall of Fame, and he continues to be a trustee of the Canadian Museum of Civilization. General Manson's efforts have contributed to a greater public awareness of our military history and the achievements of our Veterans.
