Mr. Noonan is a Veteran of the Canadian Forces. For 38 years, he has been a loyal member of Branch #10 of Canadian Legion (Borden Carleton). Mr. Noonan has served on numerous committees and on the Executive as 2nd vice president, 1st vice president and president. He also is a member of the Colour Party for the Branch. Mr. Noonan is a flag bearer at every funeral service that it is possible for him to attend. He spends many hours visiting Veterans in their homes, listening to their stories and acquiring their photographs to display in the Legion Branch. Mr. Noonan’s service to his community is noteworthy. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, has served with the Prince County Services Bureau and has been a tireless canvasser for various charities and an active parishioner in his church.
