Robert Lavoie

Mr. Lavoie is a Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Korea Veterans Association having held the position of Public Relations Director. As a member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 260, Mr. Lavoie has held various executive council positions. He has been president of the Branch, president of the Poppy Campaign, and was responsible for the proposal to have Les Voltigeurs du Quebec Regiment recognized by the creation of a postage stamp. Mr. Lavoie has contributed to Netherlands recognizing Veterans in Quebec through his work on the "Thank You Canada" Committee. Mr. Lavoie was also the president of Fond Bodnar, a service group whose focus is aged Veterans living in the Province of Quebec. He also held the position of Director General of the League of Army Cadets in Canada. Mr. Lavoie is an active member of the Royal 22ième Régiment and held the post of President for the Quebec Branch. He holds the distinction of Aide de Camp to Her Excellency, Lise Thibault, Lieutenant Governor of Quebec. Through his many activities and interests, Mr. Lavoie has proven himself to be a champion of Veterans.
