Mr. Post served in the Canadian Army with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders during the Second World War. His father served in the First World War. Mr. Post has been a loyal and longstanding member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15 where he has held a number of Executive positions over the years. As a youth, he assisted his father with collecting donations for the Poppy Fund. He is now a Life Member who has received the Legion’s 50 and 75 year medals as well as the Legion’s Diamond Jubilee. He is also a recipient of the Canada 125 Medal. Mr. Post continues to visit schools especially during Veterans’ Week to share the message of remembrance with youth.
