Mr. Gross is a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran. In 2009, he established the Waterloo Wellington North Branch of the Royal Canadian Regiment Association and has since served as President and Secretary. Dedicated to ensuring that Veterans, throughout the region, are well informed about programs and services available to them and their families, Mr. Gross has conducted five CF Reconnect seminars. He also organized and hosted ‘Operation INFO’, designed to educate Veterans about changes to the Veteran Independence Program. Mr. Gross volunteers with the Historica Canada’s Memory Project, speaking at schools, nursing homes and local branches of the Royal Canadian Legion during Veterans’ Week. He also regularly participates in local, Veteran-related, commemorative ceremonies and services, parades and funerals.
