Mr. William (Bill) Bray is a Veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy. He served for three years and retired in 1964. He is a life member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 245 in Dorval. He has been a member of the Legion for over 40 years and has served on all Executive Committee positions, including several periods as President. Mr. Bray was a Service Officer for over eight years. His knowledge of Veterans’ law has assisted many Veterans, providing solutions to their problems, as they were unaware of their own legal entitlements. Regardless of the position he held within the executive committee, his priority was always assisting Veterans.
Mr. Bray has organized Legion commemorative events and parades for several years. His skills as an organizer saved the Legion branch from disbanding, which would have been viewed as a great loss to the Veteran community of Dorval.
