My name is Kathy Harris. I am a lady with the Urban Knights and Ladies organization in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are an outreach program, so we’re actually going out and actually looking for veterans, we’re looking for folks that we can help. Now, whether that’s food or is it counselling, or is it housing. Whatever your needs are, we’re trying to address them for you. There’s been a number of folks that we’ve helped, where they’ve come from homelessness, transitioned, then what they do is they get involved and then when they’re getting involved, you actually see someone come from homelessness to someone who is proud of what they are doing. What are the gaps so we can be able to communicate all of the information that we need and we want to identify the solutions as well? So, if we’re all talking, and we’re all talking from different provinces, we’re all identifying what we’re seeing on the street and what we’re seeing in the system, we could all talk together.
