Special Memorial: "To the memory of these 23 soldiers of the British Empire killed in action in 1917 and buried at the time in the Canadian Military Graves Avion. Avion British Cemetery (The Sandpits) and Shinook Annapolis and Sumack Cemeteries, Vimy whose graves were destroyed in later battles. Their glory shall not be blotted out" (John & Anne Stephens 2013) -

Bank of Hamilton War Memorial Plaque. The Bank of Hamilton (1872-1924) headquarters was located during the first World War at King and James Street, Hamilton, Ontario. Many of the men listed on this memorial were employed at Bank of Hamilton branches located across Canada. The Bank merged with the Canadian Bank of Commerce in 1924. -
