Grave of 1111 Lieutenant Bernard George Oldaker who served with the 8th Battn. C.E.F. Born in Newick Sussex England on Feb. 25th 1893. Bernard enlisted into the C.E.F. at Valcartier Quebec on Sept. 22nd 1914, he listed prior military service with the 90th Regt.Winnipeg Rifles Canadian Militia
He listed his occupation as "Bank Clerk" Lt. Oldaker died at Vancouver BC on June 10th 1920 at the age of 27. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
