Grave of 3772 Pvt. Harry Woodman who served with the Canadian Army Medical Corps C.E.F. Born at Barton-Under Needwood Burtom-on-Trent England on April. 10th 1857. Husband to Elizabeth Woodman of West Vancouver BC. Harry enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 1st 1914 listing prior military service with the No.4 Field Ambulance C.A.M.C. (Militia) he listed his occupation as "Hospital Steward" It was for this reason he was aloud to enlist at the age of 57.
Harry died at the age 61 on Sept. 13th 1918 of the Spanish Flu during the great panademic of 1918-19. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC.
