Additional information
Baptized Joseph-Charles-Raoul Querrier. Son of Pierre-Zéphirin Cuillerier and Joséphine Lefebvre (deceased in 1899). His father remarried to Eugénie Giroux in 1899 in Montréal and the family eventually moved to St-Jérôme. Raoul stated being born in 1891 when he enlisted; based on genealogical research about his family, it is obvious, in spite of apparent illiteracy, that the last name was spelled “Cuillerrier”.
