Son of Hubert Raymond and Émilie Lachance (deceased in 1912), of St-David-de-l’Auberivière, Lévis, Québec.
Husband of Anna Grenier (deceased in 1918) and father of at least eight children according to the 1911 census.
After 20 months serving at the front, he was evacuated due to an ulcer and he was repatriated in March 1918 for treatment. It was discover that he had cancer and he died of this illness a year later.
