Baptized Joseph-Charles-Honoré Duval.

Son of Joseph Duval and Marie-Louise Bourret, of Montréal, Québec. His father died in 1905 and his mother then married Pierre Bussières in 1908.

He was decorated for bravery during the Battle of Amiens on August 8-9, 1918. Sadly, he was killed in action less than 3 weeks later at the Battle of Chérisy.

Take the D38 from Cherisy to Hendecourt. Approximately 2 kilometres from Cherisy turn left just before Sun Quarry Cemetery onto a dirt track. Continue for 1 kilometre before turning left to arrive at Quebec Cemetery.
