Son of Joseph Lefebvre and Marie-Louise-Émilie Daviau (deceased in 1895, his father remarried to Zoé Archambeault in 1896), of Montréal, Québec.
He stated being born in Berthier when he enlisted.
Enlisted on May 24, 1915, in Montreal, Quebec, in the 57th Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, and was transferred to the 41st Battalion on September 15. On October 15, he was assigned service number 416259. He sailed for Great Britain on the 16th and arrived in Plymouth, England, on the 28th. On April 22, 1916, he was temporarily assigned to the 23rd Reserve Battalion at West Sandling. On September 2, he transferred to the 69th Battalion at Camp Dibgate in Shorncliffe, and on September 27, to the 22nd Battalion at the same location. With the 69th Battalion, he crossed the English Channel and landed in France on the 28th. On October 16, he rejoined his new unit. He was killed in action on August 28, 1918, during the Battle of Chérisy, Pas-de-Calais.
