His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens) -
Circumstances of death registers
Source: Library and Archives Canada. CIRCUMSTANCES OF DEATH REGISTERS, FIRST WORLD WAR. Surnames: Deuel to Domoney. Microform Sequence 28; Volume Number 31829_B016737. Reference RG150, 1992-93/314, 172. Page 857 of 1084. He was buried on the field behind the Sugar Refinery, near Courcelete. Subsequently, his grave could not be found. Hence his sacrifice is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial. -
