Husband of Margaret Lena Eliza Phillips Henderson, of Haliburton, Ontario. Father of Jacqueline Margaret, Loyne Joseph Allan and Karen Arlen.

Elzie’s father was a Veteran of the First World War, service number 724241. Elzie’s two brothers served during the Second World War, with the RCASC; Privates Austin R. Henderson and Oscar Henderson, they both survived the war.
