His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial (2010). Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. His body was found in 1929 and was buried at Combles Communal Extension cemetery. (J. Stephens)

COMBLES COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION Somme, France
The large village of Combles is 16 kilometres east of Albert and 13 kilometres south of Bapaume. The COMBLES COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION is on the north-east side of the village and the Extension is at the back, or north-east, of the Communal Cemetery.
