My father met Sergeant L O Schurman in Buron on the 7th of June 1944 during the attack against German positions. Sergeant Schurman saved my father and my brother's lives (10 years old at this time) It was at 11H30 in the end of morning, unfortunately L O Schurman was killed in the afternoon in Authie during the big counter attack of the 12 PZ SS Division.It was 11H30 in the end of morning, unfortunately L O Schurman was killed in the afternoon in Authie during the big counter attack of the 12 PZ SS Division. -
