Brian Lynn a member of the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps, he died while serving with the North Staffordshire Regiment as a CANLOAN Officer.
Son of Harold Riviere Lynn and Ethel May Emery Lynn, of Thetford Mines, Province of Quebec, Canada.

Picture taken in the fall of 1938 in St. Pacome, Ouebec. Depicted are my father Vernon Harding (holding puppy) Brian Lynn (in the middle) and my grandfather Harold Harding. Both boys are 15 at the time and were schoolmates attending Bishops College Prep School in Lennoxville, Quebec. My grandfather and Brian's father were acquainted and were both keen duck hunters, something they passed on to their sons. The birds were taken along the south shore of the St Lawrence near Kamouraska, Quebec.<p>
My father named my elder brother Brian in memory of his friend, and my brothers and I still enjoy duck hunting, although it has been many years since we tried our luck in Kamouraska.

LA DELIVRANDE WAR CEMETERY Calvados, France
Douvres-la-Delivrande is a village 14 kilometres north of Caen. Take the main road northwards from Caen, the D7 to Langrune-sur-Mer. After about 12 kilometres, the War Cemetery will be found on the right of the road, a few hundred metres before reaching La Delivrande crossroads and its twin-spired church.
