Son of Archibald and Agnes York. He was listed as missing in action in June 1916 and declared dead on April 27, 1917. He was survived by his wife Nellie May and two children Jean Marsh and Archibald John. Although, he was born in Calgary, his parents and wife were born in Meadford, Ontario.
His father, Archibald, served in Parliament.
