Son of John William and Zowie Anaka of Stenen, Saskatchewan. Husband of Mrs. Viola Eleanor (nee Matson) Anaka and father of Harold Peter of Nanaimo, British Columbia. Brother of Peter, Harry J. Anaka was a member of the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps, he died while serving with the Royal Hampshire Regiment as a CANLOAN Officer.
Captain Harry Anaka is memorialized in Saskatchewan by Anaka Lake.
