Son of Pawel (alias Paul) Danyluck and Effie Katchuck, of Black Donald Mines, Ontario. Brother of Private John Danyluck, who served in Europe during the Second World War and survived the conflict.

Served in Québec, New Brunswick, Newfoundland with W Force, Hong Kong with C Force. He had 795 days service, including 350 overseas.
