The following medals were instituted in recognition of service in Korea. They are worn in the following order:
- Canadian Korea Medal
The ribbon consists of five equal stripes: yellow, blue, yellow, blue and yellow.
Clasp or Emblem (if awarded): A bronze leaf emblem is worn on the ribbon by those who were Mentioned in Despatches.
- Canadian Volunteer Service Medal for Korea
The ribbon is yellow, bordered on each edge with a United Nations blue stripe, and a central red stripe on which there is a centered white stripe.
Clasp or Emblem: The medal may be awarded posthumously. There is no bar to this medal.
- United Nations Service Medal (Korea)
The ribbon consists of 17 alternating stripes of blue and white, with blue on each edge.
Clasp or Emblem: A permanent bar is attached to the mount with the word KOREA.
