Photo of Laurence Oliver Randle
Private Laurence Oliver Randle, died of wounds received at Passchendale, France November 17,1917. This is what my grandmother, Kathleen Lillian Black, wrote on the back of this photo. I believe she may have been engaged to Mr. Randle, but not sure. They most certainly had an understanding. She married my grandfather and had a lovely life, but she never forgot her first love.
