Grave of 1015529 Pvt. Arthur James Allen who served with the 231st Battn. C.E.F. Born in Leeds Yorkshire England on Nov. 13th 1872, he enlisted into the C.E.F. at Edmonton Alberta on Nov. 30th 1916. He listed his occupation as "Farmer" Arthur died at Vancouver BC on Feb. 16th 1917 at the age of 44. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery in Vancouver BC. -
