Grave of 430514 Pvt. Thomas Walter Archer who served with both the 29th & 48th Battn. C.E.F. Born in Brighton England on Aug. 17th 1894, he enlisted into the 29th Battn. C.E.F. at Victoria BC on March 12th 1915, listing prior military service with the 50th Gordon Highlanders. He listed his occupation as "Carpenter" He was later sent to the 48th Battn. C.E.F.(Highland Regt) Thomas died at Vancouver BC on July 20th 1920 at the age of 24. He was laid to rest in the the Mountain View Cemetery of Vancouver BC. -
