Lt Evans is commemorated on the St Marys Memorial at Town Hall on Queen Street East in St Marys, Ontario. His brother, AB John Clow Evans RNCVR died 29 December 1917 while serving on His Majesty's Trawler Sapper Herbert Bennett. -

Maricourt is a village approximately 11 kilometres east of Albert on the road to Peronne. The PERONNE ROAD CEMETERY is on the western outskirts of the village on the north side of the road to Albert.
