He was born in New York City NY U.S.A. on Aug. 9th 1883. Charles enlisted into the C.E.F. at Vancouver BC on Nov. 4th 1918 listing his occupation as "Wood Worker" He died during the Spanish flu panademic of 1918-19 on Dec. 9th 1918 at the age of 35. He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemtery of Vancouver BC.
