Lt. Harold Staples Brewster was born in Brantford, Ontario. His C.E.F. military attestation was completed on May 8th, 1915. On this form it was noted that he had trained with the Canadian Officers' Training Corps (C.O.T.C.) in Toronto. This article and photo appeared in the Toronto Evening Telegram on December 9th, 1916. -
The Soldiers' Tower
The Soldiers' Tower was built at University of Toronto in 1924 in memory of those lost to the University in the Great War. Their names are carved on the Memorial Screen. Photo: K. Parks. -
