Lance Corporal Thomas Percy Atkins
This photo is of Thomas Atkins (sitting) and his brother Albert. Both of the 13th Bn. Black Watch. Thomas was anxious to see his baby girl, who was born when he was in France, when the war was over. He was killed before having the chance. His brother Albert survived the war, only losing the sight in one eye. This photograph is dated 21 July 1917 and sent to their cousin, my Great Grandmother, Viola Barnhart of Oshawa, Ontario.
