Baptized Marie-Antoine-Alexandre Bradshaw. Son of Jean-Baptiste-Napoléon Bradshaw and Sophie Brière (deceased in 1906). His father remarried to Mélina Lapointe in 1908 and he lived in Terrebonne. Alexandre stated being born in Montréal when he enlisted.
Alexandre was severely wounded to the head on 21 March 1918, in the trenches of « La Folie », North-West of Vimy, and was evacuated the same day. He died of his wounds ten days later at No. 22 General Hospital in Dannes, near Étaples.

ETAPLES MILITARY CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France
Etaples is a town about 27 kilometres south of Boulogne. The Etaples Military Cemetery is to the north of the town, on the west side of the road to Boulogne.
