Source: Library and Archives Canada. CIRCUMSTANCES OF DEATH REGISTERS, FIRST WORLD WAR. Surnames: Davy to Detro. Microform Sequence 27; Volume Number 31829_B016736. Reference RG150, 1992-93/314, 171. Page 601 of 1036. Private Demers and 46 other Canadian Soldiers who were killed in action during the capture of Tilloy village in late September and early October 1918, were originally buried in CAMERON CEMETERY, TILLOY-LEZ-CAMBRAI. After the Armistice their bodies were exhumed and were reburied in MILL SWITCH BRITISH CEMETERY.
