Brother of Corporal Harold Albert Bolton, killed in action on June 20, 1917 and buried at Ecoivres Military Cemetery, and of Corporal Wilbert George Bolton, killed in action during the Battle of Vimy Ridge on April 9, 1917 and is commemorated on the Canadian National Vimy Memorial.
