Pte. Harry Brooks Brash enlisted in Toronto in the 166th Battalion C.E.F. in March 1916. His mother, Isabella Brash, of 58 Springhurst Avenue in Toronto, was named as his next-of-kin. Pte. H. B. Brash was born in Toronto. His brother, David Brash, 75041, enlisted in the 29th Battalion C.E.F. in November 1914 in Vancouver, British Columbia. David had previous experience with the Queen's Own Rifles in Toronto. He also named his mother Isabella as his next-of-kin. Pte. David Brash was born in Dundee, Scotland. In honoured memory of the Brash family. -
Memorial
His name as it is inscribed on the Vimy Memorial. Over 11,000 fallen Canadians having no known place of burial in France, are honoured on this Memorial. May they never be forgotten. (J. Stephens) -
