Son of George William and Charlotte Jepson. George was survived by sisters May Emma Jepson Leeson, Jessica Jepson and half-sister Ada Jepson. George came to Canada in or after 1899; he was a home child with Dr. Bernardo's at some time. In Canada he worked for Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm McDonald of Wapella, Saskatchewan as farm help prior to enlisting
Dec. 7, 1915 in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. He is survived by a niece, Mrs. Annie Griffith (nee Leeson) of Maryfield, Saskatchewan and a nephew William Leeson (adopted) who lives in Vancouver.
