204304 Pte (Bugler) John William Distin (standing right)originally 96th Battalion, absorbed into the 92nd Battalion and then sent as a reinforcement to the 15th Battalion in April 1917. He was serving in No. 3 Company during the battle of Passchendaele when he was KIA on 8 Nov 1917 and buried near Nile House on Passchendaele ridge.
