Flight Lieutenant Lloyd Duncan Thomas has been honoured by having Thomas Creek named after him. The location of Souch Creek is in Yukon (105F13- 61° 52’ 35”- 133° 45’ 57”).

Flight Lieutenant Lloyd D. "Tommy" Thomas (right) shown with fellow pilot from No. 5 Squadron R.A.F., Flight Lieutenant Alex MacDonald and a girl of the Naga tribe. The photo was taken by an R.C.A.F photographer in Northern India, Spring 1944. Thomas was one of the many Americans who came north to fight for Canada.

TAUKKYAN WAR CEMETERY Myanmar
TAUKKYAN WAR CEMETERY is outside Yangon (formerly Rangoon, Burma), near the airport and immediately adjoining the village of Taukkyan. It is on PY1 road (formerly Prome Road), about 35 kilometres north of the city from which it is easily accessible.
