Private VICTOR GEORGE ERREY is one of twenty members of the Essex Scottish Regiment, Royal Canadian Infantry Corps who went missing at Dieppe on August 19, 1942 and were subsequently presumed dead, who are commemorated on this Panel at the Brookwood Memorial, Surrey, United Kingdom. One of these soldiers, H.J. BOULTINGHOUSE was taken prisoner and subsequently died on January 24, 1944, while a Prisoner of War.
