Son of Rolland Frigon of St. Louis, Saskatchewan. Brother of Jean Paul and Ivanhoe. Stating he was single and employed as a labourer. He served in Canada from 13 June 1941 to 23 March 1943, in the United Kingdom from 24 March 1943 to 27 June 1943 and Italy from 28 June 1943 to his death. The Province of Saskatchewan has commemorated Gunner Frigon by naming a Lake in his honour. He is also commemorated on a honour roll at Weirdale, Sastchewan, northeast of Prince Albert as Oliver Fregon.
