Newspaper Clipping
I found this photo in a scrap book my mother Florence Deveau kept during World War II. The article that appeared in the newspaper is enclosed. FATALLY WOUNDED — Private Elie LeBlanc (above), 23, of Little Brook, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie LeBlanc, was wounded in action July 25th and died as a result of his wounds on July 26. Private LeBlanc enlisted June 5th, 1942, and went overseas in April, 1943. He leaves two sisters, May and Adele; at home, also two brothers, Wil- fred and Leo.
