Burial/memorial information
Baptized Joseph Lucien Edgar Lacasse, he served under the name Lucien Lacasse. Son of Edmond Lacasse and Joséphine Nolin, of Rimouski, Québec.
Enlisted in the St. Lawrence Fusiliers, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant. On February 1, 1941, he was assigned to the 5th Military District Depot of the Royal 22nd Regiment in Quebec City, Quebec, where his rank was confirmed. On the 14th, he was sent to Camp Valcartier, located north of Quebec City. He died in a car accident on the base on July 1, 1941.
