Thompson, Thomas Wellwood - Flying Officer. Born 17th January, 1917, at Winnipeg. Entered the service of the Bank 13th May, 1935. Served at Parkhill and Caledonia, Ont., and Toronto city branches. Enlisted 16th May, 1942, from Yonge & Gould (Toronto) in R.C.A.F. Pilot Officer in May, 1943; Flying Officer in December, 1943. Trained at Toronto, Fingal, Ont., and St. Johns, Que. Served at Halifax. Overseas in June, 1943. Killed in action in France 29th June, 1944. <br><i>From a memorial booklet prepared by the Canadian Bank of Commerce.</i>

LESGES CHURCHYARD Aisne, France
Lesges is a village 16 kilometres south-east of Soissons and about 5 kilometres south of Braine a small town on the road from Soissons to Reims. The war graves lie in the south-east part of the LESGES CHURCHYARD near the southern boundary.
