Son of John Wilfred Frankfurth and Ruth Estella (nee Bower) Frankfurth, of Comber, Ontario. Brother of Frances Jean Frankfurth of Windsor, Ontario.
1939-45 Star, Acir Crew Europe Star and clasp, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Posthumously awarded RCAF Operational Wings in recognition of gallant service in action against the enemy, the 22 April 1947.

LA FERTE-ST. CYR COMMUNAL CEMETERY Loir-et-Cher, France
La Ferte-St. Cyr is a village and commune 26 kilometres north-east of Blois, and 13 kilometres south-east of Beaugency. The cemetery lies on the southern side of the village.
