Just to the left of the path, about half way to the cemetery, you will see a vertical 'line' that is actually all that's left of "The Danger Tree".<P>

This is the headstone of Lance Corporal Augustus Lilly. He was killed at Beaumont Hamel on the first day of the Battle of the Somme, and now lies in "Y" Ravine Cemetery. This photograph was taken in April 2006.
