Searching for his picture for a long time I ended up in Steep Creek SK. A volunteer from the PA Historical Society came up with this picture. The picture will also be given to www.facestograves.nl We are working hard to get a as complere picture base as possible of all the fallen Canadians at Groesbeek and other Canadian War Cemeteries in Holland. All in preparation for the 75th Anniversary of LIBERATION in Western Europe. -

My Dad is/was Canadian with the name of Patrick Bertram Mackay and he made it through the war. But in Holland when visiting our Canadian Cemeteries I will always look for similar names. Today May 4th is the day of our Annual National Remembrance of the WWII deaths, DODENHERDENKING Thats why I have visited this Cemetery and planted a flag
