Original burial by Reverend Leslie Skinner on September 12. Under shellfire, he buried Harry Niznick and other members of the Durham Light Infantry in a churchyard at Stelen, Belgium. -

GEEL (STEELEN) CHURCHYARD Belgium
GEEL (STEELEN) CHURCHYARD is located midway between Antwerp (46 Km), Hasselt (38 km) and Leuven. From St Amandskerk on the Grote Markt in Geel follow the one way system for 15 M and turn right into 'Pas'. Follow this road for 500 M to the traffic lights. Go straight across this junction onto the Stelenseweg and follow this road for 4.25 km then turn right into a road called 'Stelen'. The Church is situated 400 M on the right and the Commission plot can be found to the rear of the church.
