Private Stanley Wood
These are the mounted medals of Private Stanley Wood, MM. He was awarded the Military Medal for his actions as a company runner at the second battle of Arras in August, 1918. He was subsequently wounded in a German gas attack, and died of his wounds in 1920 at Kingston, Ontario. He is interred in his family plot in Flinton, ON.
