Brother of Flying Officer Walter Stewart, who was killed in action while serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Brother of James (RCAF), Alister (RCN), John, Gordon (RCN), Stanley, Robert, Douglas (Cdn Army), Ross (Cdn Army), Katie, Agnes, and June.
1939-45 Star, War Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Operational Wings posthumously awarded 24 August 1946.
