Cst. Agar was born in Montreal, Quebec. He was working light duties in the detachment when he was shot. Cst. Agar was married to Joyce who was pregnant at the time of his death. The couple had a young daughter named Samantha. At Depot there is an “Agar Lane” in memory of Cst. Agar. He is buried in Ocean View Cemetery in Burnaby, BC.
