World War I Memorial tablet
World War One memorial tablet, St. Paul's (Anglican), Bloor St. East, Toronto, Ontario. One of two memorial tablets set within a spectacular carved alabaster chancel screen. Erected in memory of the men of St. Paul's who died during the first World War and unveiled in March 1926. Each alabaster tablet incorporates mosaic work depicting kneeling angels holding a laurel wreath and a torch. Seventy-six names in total were listed by date of death. Inscribed: "IN CHRIST SHALL ALL BE MADE ALIVE", and from The Very Reverend Cyril Alington: "And us they trusted. We the task inherit / The unfinished task for which their lives were spent / But leaving us a portion of their spirit / They gave their witness and they died content." -

15th Bn (48th Highlanders of Canada) Memorial
"The Canal du Nord memorial, erected by the 15th Battalion Memorial Project and the town of Marquion, was unveiled and dedicated on 24 September 2012. The memorial commemorates the actions of the 15th Battalion CEF, during the Canadian assault on the Canal du Nord on 27 September 1918 and the memory of those members of the Battalion who fell during the engagement. The memorial sits alongside the existing Canal du Nord, inside the town of Marquion, which the Battalion captured during the battle." Photo submitted by the 15th Battalion Memorial Project Team. SAINS-LES-MARQUION BRITISH CEMETERY Pas de Calais, France
Sains-les-Marquion is a village about 12 kilometres north-west of Cambrai and 2 kilometres south of the D939, Arras to Cambrai road. SAINS-LES-MARQUION BRITISH CEMETERY lies at the junction of the D15 and D16 roads, about 1.5 kilometres from the centre of the village.
